Mumbai : October 01:- Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has taken serious cognizance of a case of sexual harassment in Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s Nair Hospital. The Chief Minister has instructed to take strict action in this case and assured justice to the victims.
The Chief Minister has instructed Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation Commissioner Bhushan Gagrani to transfer the Dean. Apart from this, he has also directed to appoint a special investigation committee in this entire matter. The Chief Minister has also instructed that additional measures should be implemented for the safety of the hospital staff and students. He also said that he would get this matter thoroughly investigated.
Chief Minister Shri Shinde said that such incidents in the health sector are very serious. This matter will be investigated and strict action will be taken against the culprits. It is the duty of the government to create a safe environment for everyone in the hospital.
