**Empowering Cancer Patients: CPAA’s Rehabilitation Centre

Mumbai– The Rehabilitation Centre of the Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA) stands as a beacon of hope and empowerment for cancer patients, enabling them to reclaim their dignity and self-respect through financial independence. Established in 1987 by Mrs. Manju Gupta, the center has been dedicated to keeping patients physically and mentally active, enhancing their overall quality of life.
To date, the CPAA Rehabilitation Centre has successfully rehabilitated 32,447 patients and families. It offers specialized training in a nurturing and empathetic environment, equipping patients with new skills that open doors to future employment opportunities. The center’s initiatives include the creation of artistic, marketable products sold through leading retail outlets, trade shows, exhibitions, corporate houses, and individual clients. The revenue generated supports indigent cancer patients.
Mrs Alka Sapru Bisen the CEO ,Dr Summan R Agrawal Director(PR) and Mrs Rupa Dalal were present on the occassion.
During their training, patients and caregivers receive unconditional support, including employment, cancer medication, monthly ration for the family, rental reimbursement, and school fees where necessary. Vocational training encompasses tailoring, embroidery, diya and candle making, screen printing, box making, and breast prosthesis crafting.
